Hi, I'm Georgina Silva, RN - Registered Nurse and mother of five. I built this series for expecting moms who want to head into delivery feeling prepared, confident, and supported - one topic at a time, in a small group, right here in Port Washington.

What we'll cover

  1. Your Port Washington Village - a working map of local support - mom groups, feeding support, doulas, and helplines - to keep and use before and after baby arrives.
  2. Choosing Your Care Team & Your Birth Preferences - finding a provider who shares your values, plus turning what matters to you into one page of preferences and real questions to ask.
  3. Understanding Labor & Birth - breathing, positions, and comfort techniques you'll practice in class, plus a general walkthrough of epidural and cesarean birth.
  4. Your Hospital Stay & Speaking Up - what to bring, a simple framework for decisions in the moment, and how to ask for exactly what you need.
  5. Birth Recovery, Rest & When to Call Your Provider - a real rest plan for the first weeks, realistic newborn sleep, and the signs - body and mind - that mean it's time to call your provider.
  6. Feeding Your Baby - feeding options without judgment, what to expect in the first days, and building your feeding support team.
  7. Your Fourth Trimester Plan - build your postpartum plan live in class - meals, visitors, support shifts - plus a realistic runway for returning to work.

Nurtured Mom Wellness Inc. provides non-clinical education and wellness support - not medical, nursing, or mental-health care, and not a substitute for your or your baby's healthcare providers. For emergencies, call 911.
